Because 10 years ago:
I was 50 pounds overweight and had just gone through my 2nd hip surgery and 4th lower body surgery at the ripe old age of... 23.
I was depressed and overwhelmed, and I couldn't understand why my body and mind were failing me. I was eating what I thought was a SUPER healthy diet... chicken, rice, and broccoli on repeat.
As I was lying in bed recovering from surgery, I was hit with an ad for a book called "The Plant Paradox."
It was the subtitle that really caught my eye:

That book was the start of my journey to read every nutrition book I could find. And ultimately try every diet you've ever heard of. Shoutout to Dr. G.
I went keto
I went vegan
I went carnivore
I went vegetarian
I went pescatarian
I tried it all.
And as I continued learning, I started to find common themes that helped me piece together a sustainable framework for healthy eating.
And within 12 months of following this framework, the 50 extra pounds basically fell off my body.
Within another 12 months, I had put on 20 pounds of pure lean muscle.
Over 10 years later...
I'm happy, healthy, and I'm in the best shape of my life.
